treedia is a brand new company that is selling one of the world's most unique eco-friendly Christmas trees.
treedia trees are built on a spindle and the branches can be freely rotated. You have the freedom to style it in a way that suits your home. Leave it beautifully nude or let the inspiration cross your mind to decorate it.
You have multiples sizes to choose from, this way you'll be able to fit your treedia tree everywhere; directly on the floor, bedside table, work desk or even as a dinner table centerpiece.
You will receive your treedia tree unassembled in a box with an instruction booklet to help you build it very easily in less than 3 minutes. In the box you will receive the following items.

We need your help so we can purchase wood working equipment and set up the work shop for full production. We need to purchase bigger, stronger tools. This way we can craft your trees on a larger scale while still maintaining a very high quality product. This money will help turn treedia into a full fledged company and is able to produce multiple products while shipping them worldwide.
We designed the treedia trees on computer software (CAD). This is to ensure that it's easy to assemble and easy to store.

Once the Kickstarter campaign is complete we will set up the wood shop, complete the website www.treedia.ca. , custom make your treetia tree and ship them.
Nico: Studied structural wood engineering in France at École Supérieure Du Bois. He is passionate towards woodworking and inspired by forests in the Swiss Alps. In his spare time Nico goes Kite surfing in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter.
Chris: Studied biotechnology at Loyalist College. He is very passionate towards woodworking and the environment. In his spare time Chris goes wakeboarding in the summer, and snowskating in the winter.

One of treedia's most difficult challenges is to be environmentally friendly in as many ways as possible. We are dedicated to producing high quality trees while always keeping the environment as our main focus.
Larger than expected number of backers: treedia trees are individually hand made (not massively produced in a factory) If we get an extremely overwhelming number of orders, we will work around the clock to get your order out to you as soon as possible. However we will do our best to overcome this by hiring more people to get things moving faster.
Production delays due to lack of wood: If there is an unexpected issue getting our wood delivered, such as the delivery truck breaking down, this may also result in delays. To overcome this we will use our pickup trucks with trailers, and SUV's to and manually load up our vehicles and drive the wood to our production shop.
