Have you ever thought about taking the bus or the car instead of your bicycle because you have a romantic dinner that evening and you want to look smart and not like a cyclist?
Have you ever felt a little décalé with your bike gear when you arrive at the office?
Have you ever felt a little sweaty because you bike with your backpack and your computer in?
Yeah we did too and after one year and half we have come up with an innovative and great idea !
The project Soundary Cycle was born thanks to talented people thinking that all urban cyclists are also cool pedestrians.
We wanted to create a cycling backpack that allows you to carry anything you want without being a burden. We wanted to create a backpack for pedestrians that doesn't tag you as a cyclist. And as always, safety first: a bag that ensures that you are visible.
So we invented Cocotte and Poulette
A round shape bag with reflective zippers made with leather and waterproof technical textile, made the most locally and by artisans. Oh yes...we are pretty proud of us :)
Avez-vous déjà pensé prendre le bus ou la voiture car vous avez prévu un rendez-vous le soir même et que vous avez pas envie de ressembler à un cycliste ?
Vous êtes-vous senti un peu décalé avec tout votre matériel cycliste en arrivant aux bureaux ?
Avez-vous le dos un peu mouillé car vous portiez un sac-à-dos ?
Nous aussi et après un an et demi de travail, on est sur le point de trouver une solution innovante et géniale !
Le projet Soundary Cycle est constitué de personnes talentueuses pour qui les cyclistes urbains sont des personnes cool et sociables une fois à pied.
Nous avons voulu créer un sac à dos pour cyclistes qui permette de porter des choses sans que cela devienne un fardeau. Nous voulions créer un sac à dos pour des personnes à pied sans être étiqueté "cycliste" Et comme toujours, "safety first": un sac qui assure la visibilité du cycliste.
Nous avons donc créé Cocotte et Poulette.
Un sac à dos de forme ronde avec des zip réfléchissants fabriqués avec un cuir traité français et une toile traitée anti-tâche, anti-UV et surtout hydrofuge, matériaux fabriqués en France. Et oui... on est assez fiers de nous :)

Minute papillon, we are almost done. We have several prototypes of the backpack but we're still working on the device that will allow to attach the backpack perfectly on the bike. And for that we need funds, that's why we are on Kickstarter.
By backing us up, you are helping us to adjust to production, to optimize raw materials and storage, they will be almost produced on-demand for you.

On a presque fini... Nous avons plusieurs prototypes du sac à dos mais nous sommes encore en train de travailler sur le système permettant d'attacher le sac parfaitement sur le vélo. Et pour cela nous avons besoins de fonds, c'est pour cela qu'on est ici.
En participant à cette campagne, vous nous aidez à ajuster la production, pas de perte de matériaux ni de stockage inutile, ils seront quasiment confectionnés à la demande à votre intention.

This project is a fantastic challenge.
We aim to deliver the pant strapping before Christmas 2016 and the backpack in March 2017. This planning is totally feasible but require a huge amount of work and reliability from our partners and suppliers.
On another hand, Soundary Cycle works with a strong team : people with great expertise and passion such as a leather artisan, innovation oriented industries, engineers and our great designer.
We are confident that we can reach the delivery target as all suppliers are identified, secured and tested.

Nous planifions la livraison des pince pantalon avant Nöel 2016 et le sac à dos en Mars 2017. Ce planning est réaliste et atteignable mais requiert un travail formidable et une fiabilité de la part de nos partenaires et fournisseurs.
